Art Deco Residence - Accra, Ghana 

Three bedroom family home for for single woman with adult children. Designed with her request for a revived historic design and to be proof from floods, fire, to collect rain water runoff and facilitate solar energy collection. 

The proposal is a concede structure, raised off the ground, and has a partial slab roof and parapet. The design style has vestiges of art deco revival based on research and technical compatibility within the context of the surrounding community. Currently under construction. 

Research significance - to apply design concepts of Art Deco in a contemporary context and as a modern interpretive revival.
